On Monday The Boston Herald reported sales information for Massachusetts’counties. The figures, which compare the first quarter of 2006 to the first quarter of 2005, were taken from research done by The Warren Group. Suffolk (Boston, Chelsea, Revere and Winthrop) was the only county reporting an increase in sales.

Here is a list of the sales performance of the larger counties in the Massachusestts:
Essex County 19.2% decrease
Plymouth County 13.4% decrease
Worcester County 11.5% decrease
Middlesex County 10.6% decrease
Norfolk County 6.0% decrease

And as mentioned above… Suffolk County a 9.5% increase.
