What do the people responsible for the subprime mortgage crisis do after they’ve wrecked the economy? They go to Las Vegas for a convention. The fifth annual conference of the American Securitization Forum met this week and while the mood was more somber than in the boom years of the recent past, it sounds like no one, especially consciences, were hurting too badly.
